I discovered Nia in 2004 in a garage in Santa Monica. I was instantly attracted to the joy and freedom I felt in my body after years of more traditional workouts. I bring many years of musical theater performance experience to my teaching and my greatest joy is seeing people who have been afraid to move, or have felt disconnected from their body, rediscover their joy of dance through Nia. I received my white belt in 2008 and am a founding member of Nia Santa Monica. I am busy raising 2 beautiful teenage daughters with my husband, Ron, and I am grateful everyday for the way Nia helps me flow more gracefully through my life.
